"I create small, intimate drawings that take their influence from film, a medium that I have an absolute fascination and love for.  I’m not trying to recreate the film or the story-line, rather I’m trying to capture the little jewels that catch my eye, the images I find beautiful or captivating and create a new way of seeing them. Once gathered together in a series I feel they intensify and enhance each other, either purely visually or by knitting together to hint at a possible story, although I never strive to create a story, they almost inevitably do.”
